4. Robyn: PRAC ‘News’ submittal to Amanda for the City Newsletter. [ie. P&R upcoming events, community interests & participation opportunities].
5. Short presentation from Charles Allinger, a community member, on a brief introduction on some possibilities for interactive scheduling programs or apps for our sports facilities usage.
6. Update from Mandi on Turnback Canyon Trails & with Don on other CityTrails improvements that may be progressed (vegetation & non-structural improvements) with so-called ‘tree funds’ allocation... [ i.e. Lohman/Bar K, …Bar K/Lakeside, …Bar K>Sunset Park>Turnback Canyon Trails, …Foothill Cove Area/Diamond Trail, … Middle School/Sunset Park, & …‘The Bowl’ social trail area] ...or larger project ideas for development.
7. Ideas/designs to get in front of the public, garnering support for promoting parklands & green-space beautification potentials [smallish, 'tree-fund' improvements & large projects for future development]; as well as some 'how to's' of getting said ideas out there…
8. Discussion of specific ideas, costs/funding needs for these larger projects - for justifications on the proposed upcoming bond ballot issue, & inclusion in the Comprehensive Park Plan. [also ref PRAC Eval Booklet - as to 'Pop-up' Parks, green-spaces, Social Trails, Toddler Parks, Community Gardens, Butterfly Gardens, Dog Park, Ropes Courses, Gazebos, Splashpad, Community Gathering Amphitheatre, Sunset Park improvements & additions, and even the possibility of expanding the Traffic LightBox mural context - emulating Austin's ongoing ‘Muraling Austin’ program as a mentor/model.
9. Progress update as to the requested city-owned properties’ zoning/Flum changes that were sent to P&Z / City Council: the proposed ‘Town-Center City Park’ area, ‘Dawn Circle’ area & Bowden Point.
10. Discussion on the cumulative presentation mode & methods of our 'progressing', developed proposals of green-space & parklands' projects, for the ‘Parks & Rec Master Plan'
