CITIZEN COMMENTS
1. The City Council of the City of Lago Vista, Texas will conduct a public hearing to receive citizen comments and views regarding the proposed City of Lago Vista budget for fiscal year 2024-2025, commencing on October 1, 2024, and ending on September 30, 2025.
CONSENT AGENDA
10. Hold a public hearing for discussion, consideration and possible action on Ordinance No. 24-09-05-02, an ordinance regarding a zoning change request to amend the existing “Nature’s Point Planned Development District” (PDD) established by Ordinance No. 21-03-04-01 to modify various development standards applicable to improvements on the property (Nature’s Point Subdivision, Block A, Lot 1).
11. Hold a public hearing for discussion, consideration, and possible action on Ordinance 24-09-05-03; an ordinance amending the Future Land Use Map component of the 2030 Comprehensive Plan adopted by Ordinance No. 16-05-05-02 as amended to change the designation of the property at 21003 Dawn Drive (Lago Vista, Section 1, Block C, Lot 1) from “Low Density Residential” to “City Park” and the designation of approximately 1.612 acres of the W. Hensley Survey No. 538, Abstract 348 and the J. Maxey Survey No. 6, Abstract 2628 from “Public/Semi Public” to “City Park.
12. Hold a public hearing for discussion, consideration, and possible action Ordinance 2024-09-05-04, an ordinance of the City Council of Lago Vista, Texas amending Section 12.20 of the Chapter 14 of the Lago Vista Code of Ordinances to create a criminal penalty for violations of the Zoning Ordinance.
13. Discussion, consideration, and possible action regarding an amendment to the Halff Consultants contracts for additional services.
14. Discussion, consideration, and possible action regarding the City of Lago Vista entering into a professional services agreement with Safebuilt Texas, LLC., to provide services in accordance with construction codes, amendments and ordinances adopted by the City Council, State of Texas and regulations that are applicable to building and fire code.
15. Discussion, consideration, and possible action on Resolution No. 24-2072, a resolution by the City Council of Lago Vista, Texas approving a revocable license agreement between the City of Lago Vista and Robert W. Ruggiero and Sally Ruggiero for an encroachment into the public right-of-way on Crockett Ave and for encroachment of public infrastructure into private property located at 20117 Highland Lake Drive.
16. Discussion, consideration, and possible action on future projects to be presented by Keep Lago Vista Beautiful.
17. Discussion, consideration, and possible action on Ordinance 24-09-05-05; an ordinance of the City of Lago Vista, Texas amending Appendix A Fee Schedule of the Code of Ordinances: Article 6.000, Sec 6.200 Utility Rates and Fees; and Article 10.000, Sec 10.100 Pool Fees.
18. Discussion, consideration, and possible action on Ordinance No. 24-09-05-06 an Ordinance of the City of Lago Vista, amending Code of Ordinances article 1.300 "City Council" adding Section 1.310 "Procedures for Personnel Interaction" and Providing for the Following: Findings of Fact, Severability, Repealer, Effective Date, and Proper Notice and Meetings Clauses.
19. Discussion, consideration, and possible action on initial draft of revised City Social Media Policy.
20. Discussion, consideration, and possible action regarding the creation of The No Taxpayer Waste Procurement Process.
21. Discussion, consideration, and possible action regarding the creation of a Voluntary Fee Program for the Lago Vista Golf Course.
